2009 Ice Princess - Firework Display

The 2009 Oxford Round Table Fireworks display attracted crowds of 22,000+ to watch fireworks, the burning of the huge bonfire and of course the burning of the Wicker Ice Princess. All the profits from the night go into the Round Table's charity kitty, which is then distributed to local charities over the course of the year. This years event raised a staggering £41,000. The atmosphere was electric with drummers, fire dancers and Morris dancers with fire. The crowd atmosphere was fantastic, the weather held off and the goulish twist that Dan had promised emerged as the Ice Princess burned away. Another very successful night had by all.
