1-4th October 2010 Wicker Man Oxford Visited Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve
After Dan Barton's BBC Radio Oxford interview asking the people of Oxford to find the final place for the sculpture to visit prior to closing its 2010 Tour prior to its burning on 6th November 2010, we are delighted to be invited to Natural England's Aston Rowant National Nature reserve from Thursday evening 30th September - Monday afternoon on 4th October 2010 .Funding from 'Outdoors for All' has enabled this weekends Wicker Man visit to Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve which we are very grateful. The Wicker Sculpture will be dramatically positioned in such a prestigious view point that it will be seen from the M40 on the approach to the cut at Stokenchurch. Come and see the enormous iconic wicker/wooden style sculpture that stands 38ft tall , it has been uniquely made to easily travel/tour around Oxfordshire. Our aim is to uplift and inspire people to help raise funds for our chosen annual charity, by creating a tradition that Oxfordshire will embrace and be proud to take part in.
